This is Ansley’s 5th visit to Scottish Rite in Atlanta, GA since March of 2009. She has had 4 video EEG’s a muscle biopsy and a spinal tap. Ansley is a beautiful 9 year old who has been diagnosed with Tuberous Sclerosis, Epilepsy, Autism, Bilateral Temporal Retinal Colobomas and ADHD. She is the light of my life; I am truly honored to be her mom. We are awaiting her mitochondrial testing results. Ansley started having atypical absence seizures sometime last year and it has not been easy. She originally started having generalized clonic tonic seizures at age three and at age five we got them under control with Topomax and now these stubborn things that won’t stop with medication.
